Ilocandia tour

Sharing you guys our Ilocos trip last December. Yah I know this is another overdue post but atleast I shared it now than never!

Thank you Byahe Ni Juan for this very affordable and enjoyable tour. They assisted us in all our queries and they had the great services so far. I will also share to you our itinerary if you want to do it yourself Travel.

Day 1:

Hidden Garden
Our first stop at Ilocos, The hidden Garden restaurant, we ate their very famous Longanissa for just Ph 150.00/meal. Since it's a 10-12 hours ride from Manila, you can take a bath or wash up her because you still have a lot to do the whole day.

I also suggest to wear a comfy outfit for all the activities the whole day.

Baluarte Ni Singson

A zoo owned by the Singson. I'm sure kids and kids at heart will enjoy here!

St. Augustine Church and Bantay Bell Tower
There where lots of Bell tower at Ilocos because it was built during the Spanish Era were used to call worshippers to the church for a communal service, and to announce times of daily prayer, called the canonical hours. Very ancient!

Paburnayan Jar Making

You should try to make a pot here! It's fun!

whenever we drop by to these arch, we took photos for remembrance.

Malacaniang of the North

This was the house of late President Marcos when he became the president that's why it's called Malacanang of the north. Entrance fee was Php 20.00

This was a birthday gift from first lady, Imelda Marcos, to her husband on the occasion of his 60th birthday. (It is named after the official residence and workplace of the President of the Philippines in Manila - the Malacañang Palace.)

The view from their terraces

La Paz/Paoay Sandunes 4x4

And to our last activity that day, The Sand dunes
Don't ever miss the chance to ride this 4x4 and explore the sand dunes. This is the most exciting part of the tour.

The ride cost Php 2500/5 persons and it's totally worth it!

To end our day 1, I enjoyed my beshies company at the beach!

Day 2

Pasuquin Salt Making
We just passed by here real quick that's why we don't have pictures :( but we saw how to make salt.

Dragon Fruit Farm

tried this dragon fruit ice cream for only Php20.00.

Cape Bojeador Light House

Kapurpurawan/White Rock Formation

Bangui Wind Mills

Of course, what is Ilocos without windmills!

Patapat Viaduct
The Patapat Viaduct is an elevated road — over 30 meters above sea level. This 1.3 km long coastal bridge can be found in the municipality of Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte. Connecting the Maharlika Highway in Laoag to the Cagayan Valley, this is a busy street above the coastal areas of Pagudpud. The fourth longest bridge in the country, this winding concrete beauty is said to be the northernmost roadway part of Ilocos Norte.

Bantay Abot cave

Blue Lagoon, Pagudpud beach

The waces are high and strong so thus our friendship!

Day 3

Laoag

Paoay

Vigan City

We rode this Kalesa to explore the vigan city

Calle Crisologo

We arrived there at lunch time and I think it's NOT the best time to go there. The humid is so hot and most of the stores was closed that time. I suggest that you should go at about dawn or evening. But still the place was astonishing! Seems that you traveled back on past.

We also did a side trip at La union grape farm but we didn't get the chance to pick grapes because it's almost evening and there were no grapes that time, so it's not worthy.

To summarize this trip, I compiled our videos. Enjoy! watch it HD on youtube :)
